Pitching innovation with the use of AI
When ChatGPT was introduced I was very critical, not because we humans were being replaced, I hated it because it was bad. The first 5 minutes are super impressive until you realise that it is absolutely useless at replacing programmers, artists and writers.
Until I discovered formatting. Because if there is one thing AI is good at then it is formatting. One of the most important abilities you most have if you are a sales person, a student, a researcher or other is to take what you have just googled/read and putting it into a format like a report, presentation or pitch. AI however removes a lot of that hurdle so that you can focus on the content.
As a teacher I love it when my students uses AI but only on assignments where real world value is to be presented. One assignment I made recently was for my student to create and write up an offer for an advanced service. They were selling an entire concept with equipment and worked hours. Some of the more intelligent students used ChatGPT to create the mold so that they could focus on finding the equipment. I was impressed now every time I contact a business I always use AI to generate my pitches but the content is man made since no, AI is horrible at creating useful content.
Perhaps I simply am an old bitter man but remember that for AI to be useful someone needs to prompt it, and the more you prompt it, the more useful it becomes. To the point where you might just as well just learn to code/write/draw the thing yourself.
